What is STEAM?<\/strong><\/h4>

STEAM stands for\u00a0Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics<\/strong>. It\u2019s an educational approach that goes beyond traditional subject boundaries, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and collaborate across disciplines. By integrating the arts with STEM subjects, STEAM helps students develop both analytical and innovative thinking\u2014skills essential for success in today\u2019s rapidly changing world.<\/p>

STEAM at Sebastian Middle School<\/strong><\/h4>

At Sebastian Middle School, STEAM is at the heart of what we do. As a\u00a0STEAM-certified school<\/strong>, we focus on hands-on, inquiry-based learning that connects classroom lessons to real-world applications. Our students engage in projects that challenge them to design, build, test, and refine their ideas\u2014whether they\u2019re programming robots, creating digital art, conducting scientific experiments, or designing sustainable solutions for community issues.<\/p>
