Topics include geography, culture, government, economics, and the lasting impact of ancient peoples on modern life.<\/p><h4>Grade 7 Civics<\/h4><p>S<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">tudents study the growth and development of the United States from colonization through Reconstruction. Through primary sources and historical inquiry, students gain a deeper understanding of the events and individuals that shaped our nation.<\/span><\/p><h4>Grade 8 United States History<\/h4><p>S<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">tudents examine the foundations of government, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the structure of local, state, and federal governments.
