continue<\/li><li><strong>Involves a Power Imbalance<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 one person has more social, physical, emotional, or other power than another<\/li><\/ul><p>Bullying can take many forms, including:<\/p><h3>Verbal Bullying<\/h3><ul><li>Name-calling<\/li><li>Teasing<\/li><li>Threats<\/li><li>Hurtful comments<\/li><\/ul><h3>Social or Relational Bullying<\/h3><ul><li>Excluding others from groups<\/li><li>Spreading rumors<\/li><li>Embarrassing someone publicly<\/li><li>Damaging friendships or reputations<\/li><\/ul><h3>Physical Bullying<\/h3><ul><li>Hitting, pushing, or tripping<\/li><li>Taking or damaging belongings<\/li><li>Physical intimidation<\/li><\/ul><h3>Cyberbullying<\/h3><ul><li>Hurtful messages or comments online<\/li><li>Sharing embarrassing photos or videos<\/li><li>Creating fake accounts<\/li><li><p>Harassment through social media, texting, or gaming bullying:<\/p><h4>Tell a Trusted Adult.\u00a0Report concerns to:<\/h4><ul><li>A teacher<\/li><li>School counselor<\/li><li>Administrator<\/li><li>Dean<\/li><li>School resource officer<\/li><li><p>Parent or guardian<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h4>Be an Upstander.\u00a0Students can help by:<\/h4><ul><li>Supporting classmates who are being targeted<\/li><li>Refusing to participate in bullying behavior<\/li><li>Reporting concerns to an adult<\/li><li><p>Promoting kindness and inclusion<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h4>Don&#8217;t Retaliate<\/h4><p>Fighting back or seeking revenge often makes situations worse.
